A World with a Thousand Corners: San Francisco to Half Moon Bay, Day 1

San Francisco to Half Moon Bay
October 16, 2011

Last month, I took a little walk from Ocean Beach in San Francisco to Half Moon Bay with a friend of mine.  It was a great 3 day hike.  And I am still amazed that you can actually walk between those cities!  We had fabulous weather and it was so beautiful!

Here are some pictures from Day 1 - San Francisco to Pacifica.

Near Fort Funston
Not working.
My friend, Kristin - we took a wrong turn and
ended up in a closed area without knowing it.
Mystery of the day: How did this chair get here?
It was miles from any road access to this beach.
Remnants from an old pier
There were very few people on the beach in the stretch
just south of Fort Funston and Pacifica
Sunset near the Pacifica Pier
The ocean, just before we lost light for the day

Love the pics my friend. Glad you are back to blogging. :) I think we'll seriously try that walk when it's warm. Very cool!

Jen!
I can't believe it has taken me so long to check out your photos of our trip. Terrible. But, LOVE your pictures! I think we should do this again. Or another trail? Either way, I am in! :)
